Given that she’s extremely young, yet displays all the qualities of a K-Pop star, it’s only natural that major corporate K-Pop entertainment agencies have been reaching out to her and offering a contract. The eleven year old star’s uncle, Kang HyeSung, stated:“There have been several different offers that major agencies have put on the table. However, upon consideration, it was decided that there was no need for SeoWon to be active on broadcast at such a young age.“But apart from just the young age, there also must be other practical reasons why SeoWon is taking her time before going full throttle with her celebrity career, right?SeoWon’s uncle did raise an interesting point about nurturing young talents in preparation for their future.Kang stated:“Being trained in such a systematic environment doesn’t help an individual’s creative growth, which is why we’ve decided to hold on before signing.“What this means is that rather than money, SeoWon’s creative growth has been prioritized. In addition, SeoWon’s uncle has also stated that the ideal future plan is for her to wait until her late middle school years to become a trainee, then go on to debut when she’s in high school.Just recently not too long ago, many viewers of ‘Miss Trot 2’ have been voicing concern over some of the young contestants who were crying after discovering they had been eliminated. Some of the viewers have suggested that there should be an age limit to these survival programs, as it may have unhealthy influences towards children experiencing fierce competition from such a young age. It’s definitely a good point that Mr. Kang has made in regards to turning down offers from major K-Pop entertainment agencies, as children should be left to freely enjoy and experiment on their own, which would be best for their creative growth, rather than being place into a strict and rigorous system of training.
