This week, we have our currently reigning female K-Drama leads for your consideration. 2022 has been an incredible year for K-Dramas, and the month of June is set to exceed our expectations even more. K-Dramas that have premiered in June so far (that is, at the time of writing) include “Insider”, “Link: Eat, Love, Kill”, “Cleaning Up”, “Why Her?”, “Doctor Lawyer” and “Eve” among others.Let’s take a look at the female protagonists of these dramas and their fashion below! 1. Lee YooYoung - “Insider”
Lee YooYoung plays Oh SooYeon in “Insider”. Her fashion is elegant, powerful, and luxurious, much like her character. She doesn’t shy away from darker tones and embraces gold elements wherever possible.
2. Mun KaYoung - “Link: Eat, Love, Kill”
Mun KaYoung plays No DaHyeon in “Link: Eat, Love, Kill”. She is a woman with particularly bad luck in life, especially with men. Her fashion is cozy, sweet, and simple, reflecting her innocence.
3. Jeon SoMin - “Cleaning Up”
Jeon SoMin plays Ahn InKyeong in “Cleaning Up”. She is a cleaner at a financial company who dreams of running a moving cafe. While we haven’t seen much of her personal style yet, it is understandably muted and modest. However, this can be expected to change over the course of the show as InKyeong moves closer to turning her fate around.
4. Seo HyunJin - “Why Her?”
Seo HyunJin plays Oh SooJae in “Why Her?”. She is an excellent and ambitious lawyer who knows how to work both hard and smart. Her style is sharp, compelling, and bright, which means that she is always making a statement. Shoulder pads and blazers are staples in her wardrobe.
5. Im SooHyang - “Doctor Lawyer”
Im SooHyang plays Geum SeokYeong in “Doctor Lawyer”. She is a fearless public prosecutor who believes in retribution rather than rehabilitation. Her style is professional and stern, echoing a sense of responsibility. SeokYeong notably avoids too much colour in her daily fashion.
6. Seo YeaJi - “Eve”
Seo YeaJi makes her highly awaited comeback to the small screen with “Eve”, where she plays Lee RaEl, an astute young woman who swears to avenge the death of her father by bringing down the rich and powerful.
