Last year, at this same time of the year, viewers were holding their breath for the last episodes as the drama ended on Nov. 21, 2019.With the popularity of the drama in and out of Korea, the actors gained a lot of spotlight and popularity. Some received awards and were offered good opportunities following the end of the drama.Let’s find out what happened to them this past year and what are the actors doing now. Kim HyeYoon (Eun DanOh)Kim HyeYoon was invited to a lot of photoshoots and TV shows following the end of the drama.In 2020, she filmed for the thriller movie “Midnight” as a supporting role along with Jin KiJoo and Wi HaJoon. She also filmed as the lead actress for the movie “The Girl Riding a Bulldozer” with Super Junior’s YeSung.This year too, she made a cameo in the drama “Record of Youth” starring Park BoGum and Park SoDam and she will make a cameo in the upcoming drama “Live On” starring NU’EST’s MinHyun and Jung DaBin. She also acted in the music video ‘Afternoon’ of Jay Park, Golden, and pH-1.The actress was cast in the 2021 drama “Snowdrop” starring Jung HaeIn, BLACKPINK’s JiSoo, and more. She will act as a telephone operator at HoSoo Women University. Many are looking forward to her new drama. 2. SF9’s RoWoon (Number 13/HaRu)After the end of “Extraordinary You”, RoWoon has received a lot of attention and gained a lot of followers on Instagram (@krwo_on with 2.5m on Nov. 11). He appeared in a lot of photoshoots and TV shows, and he was also invited to the London Fashion Week.But that is not all, he became the model of various brands including KLAVUU (makeup), CHIC CHOK (cookies and dessert), The North Face (clothing), and Gongcha (bubble tea and tea franchise. GongCha previous models include Lee JongSuk, Park SeoJun, and Lee SeungGi. RoWoon had a 6-month-contract).RoWoon has been busy with SF9 activities with concerts and two comebacks with title tracks ‘Good Guy’ (album “First Collection”) and ‘Summer Breeze’ (mini-album “9loryUS”) along with the release of the special album “SPECIAL HISTORY BOOK”.About his acting activities, RoWoon did a cameo in the drama “Find Me in Your Memory” early this year. He was cast in the office noona romance drama “Sunbae, Don’t Put On That Lipstick” as the lead along with Won JinAh. The drama will air early next year on JTBC and he is currently filming for it. He acting as a marketer in a cosmetic company that makes people fall for him in less than 10 minutes. 3. Lee JaeWook (Baek Kyung)Lee JaeWook also gained popularity with the drama “Extraordinary You”. He had a lot of photoshoots for magazines such as “DAZED”, “Elle”, “NYLON”, “Esquire”, and “Marie Claire”, and he became the muse for the clothing brand AD HOC.After “Extraordinary You”, he acted as a supporting role in the drama “When The Weather Is Fine” starring Hallyu actors Seo KangJoon and Park MinYoung. He was acting as a realistic and cute public servant who was a close friend of the lead character acted by Seo KangJoon.After this drama early this year, he took on the lead role of the ongoing romantic comedy “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” with Go Ara. He is acting as a mysterious man with a lot of secrets who fall in love with the pianist Goo RaRa (Go Ara) whose life fell to the bottom when her family was ruined. With the drama, he is stealing the hearts of the viewers with his cute and romantic scenes. 4. APRIL’s NaEun (Yeo JuDa)NaEun is busy with her MC activities on the music show “Inkigayo” but not only. She is also the MC in the TV shows “Get it Beauty 2020” and “School Meal”. She also appears in the TV show “My Dream is Ryan” and audio show “Avengirls” on NAVER NOW.NaEun was also active with fellow APRIL members with the title tracks ‘Lalalilala’ (mini album “Da Capo”) and ‘Now or Never’ (special single album “Hello Summer”). She also promoted with fellow member JinSol the song ‘Matter of Time’ and released a webtoon OST with Eric Nam ‘Attraction’. She also featured in the song ‘Rain’ of VIXX’s Ravi.NaEun is currently in talks for the SBS drama “Deluxe Taxi” based on webtoon to air in 2021. She would be acting with Lee JeHoon and Esom (also in talks). 5. Kim YoungDae (Oh NamJoo)Kim YoungDae appeared in a lot of dramas in 2020 as supporting or guest roles.First, early this year, he appeared in a few episodes of “When The Weather Is Fine” also starring fellow “Extraordinary You” actor Lee JaeWook. He was a tsundere character in love with Park MinYoung.The actor is currently appearing in the popular drama “Penthouse: War in Life” as the son of Lee JiAh. Kim YoungDae will have a more important character in the upcoming drama “Cheat on Me, If You Can” starting this December on KBS. He is acting as an agent of the NIS who covers his identity by working part-time. 6. Jung GunJoo (Lee DoHwa)After “Extraordinary You”, Jung GunJoo did some interviews. He was also cast as one of the lead actors in the drama “Oh My Baby” starring Jang NaRa, Go Jun, and Park ByungEun. He was a new employee with a 4D and innocent personality in this romance drama. 7. Lee TaeRi (Fairy JinMiChae)Lee TaeRi is currently appearing in the popular fantasy drama “The Tale Of The Nine Tailed” (Lee DongWook, Jo BoAh, and Kim Bum) as a supporting role. With this handsome and dangerous character, he gains the attention of the viewers.
