Members DongHeon, HoYoung, MinChan, GyeHyeon, YeonHo, YongSeung, and KangMin are showing us their dark side in this dreary tension-filled but dreamy comeback.VERRER are happy to see MinChan back for OT7 promotions because he was on an 8-month hiatus due to health problems. He said that he was able to come back healthily due to the support from his fans who worried about him.

Concept

VERIVERY released their teaser on Aug. 21, 2021. Beforehand, they had released mood films for each member of the group. The teaser and music video takes place in a barren and vast dome that carries a gloomy atmosphere. They act mysteriously as they go on an action-filled adventure. The song is an addictive and powerful song, with a strong beat that matches the strength of the lyrics. ‘TRIGGER’ is a song that represents VERIVERY’s intense transformation and deadly charm.MinChan explained that the keyword for this comeback is ‘Locked.’ It implies that you can meet VERIVERY trapped in the darkness or eroded by themselves through water.GyeHyeon said that the point of their previous album was VERIVERY finding a dark inner space, but this time they are trapped in that darkness and confused.

Fashion & Appearance

This comeback focuses on bold styling choices that give the boys a rough, dark, and mysterious look. Their styling is very charismatic. They wear stylish workwear that gives them a tough manly image, showing a mature side to them.

Dance

Their performance has increased a lot as they’ve paid more attention to point choreography that matches the lyrics.Unfortunately, due to a foot injury, GyeHyeon couldn’t perform the first stage of ‘TRIGGER’ together. It is not a serious injury, but he has been advised to minimize movement on the injured foot. He put a lot of effort into taking part in the rest of their comeback showcase.HoYoung said that they tried to show something different from their usual sharp group choreography. They tried hard to get a colorful feeling with intuitive and expressive choreography instead.Watch the full dance performance here:

Songs

The album has 5 tracks on it. The title song ‘TRIGGER’ is the first song on the album. The second track is called ‘Underdog’.The third track “PROM” was actually co-written and composed by members DongHeon, GyeHyeon, YeonHo, and YongSeung. It is an exciting song with a party vibe. This is followed by the fourth track ‘Heart Attack’ and the final track ‘Thank You, NEXT?’ which is only available on the CD version. The reason that it is only available on the CD is that they wanted to give more meaning to the fans who bought the physical album.YeonHo said that the album is filled with messages that you can relate to immediately.

Episodes & Fun Talks

Although the members have not filmed any promotional content for their comeback yet, they released another episode of their variety show “VERIVERYLAND” whilst VERRER were awaiting their comeback. In Episode 22 of the show, they go on a mission to find the production budget card using hints and clues. They have to find it within a limited amount of time in order to succeed. The video plays out like a video game. The members adorably got scared by low-cost horror props, especially KangMin which had everyone giggling.VERRER especially laughed at the interview portion at the end of the mission when DongHeon was judging the other members for having the same reactions to a question, but he couldn’t think of an original comment either. After watching this episode, many VERRER expressed that it made them even more excited for the comeback, in the comments.Be sure to learn the fan chant for ‘TRIGGER’ and cheer on the boys with the video below:   VERIVERY 6th Mini Album Series ‘O’ Round 2 : Hole Official Photos PHOTO|Aug 19, 2021 VERIVERY’s KangMin Causes Goosebumps With Ending Pose For ‘G.B.T.B’ Halloween Version KPOP STORIES|Oct 30, 2020 This Is What Happens When VERIVERY Members Make Their Leader Angry KPOP STORIES|Jul 20, 2020 VERIVERY Pulls Our TRIGGER With ROUND 2 HOLE Comeback - 9VERIVERY Pulls Our TRIGGER With ROUND 2 HOLE Comeback - 91VERIVERY Pulls Our TRIGGER With ROUND 2 HOLE Comeback - 42
