Kpopmap was invited to attend their online showcase and we are here to share with you some of the exclusive information that we have gathered.In the past, WJSN had all along shown a mysterious image but with this album, they have returned with a chic, cold and charming vibe.The title song ‘UNNATURAL’ is a song that expresses a girl becoming awkward and unnatural when she is in front of someone she likes. Along with the lively and dreamy beats, WJSN is bound to charm you with their vocals and bright energy.At the same time, we can expect to see the mature sides of WJSN who has fallen in love but keeps their cool as if nothing is wrong.The girls greeted the reporters before they went ahead and impressed us with the stage for B-side track, ‘Last Dance’.WJSN did not disappoint when they mentioned that this album is about their transformation as the choreography, stage outfit and styling for their performances were absolutely gorgeous and memorable.After taking a short breather, they returned back on stage and shared how they have been doing.Leader Exy began by introducing the various activities that each of the members had undergone. DaWon, Exy, EunSeo, SeolA, Bona and DaYoung have been busy with acting schedules as they were seen filming for dramas and even movies.EunSeo who had acted in “Dalgona” in 2020 shared that she was nervous when she went for filming schedules. Luckily, she was able to relieve those nerves thanks to the director who had lightened the atmosphere.In addition, WJSN had also debuted their first sub-unit, WJSN CHOCOME!The members include YeoReum, SooBin and Luda. Luda specially pointed out that they really loved how many fans and viewers had enjoyed their stage collaborations with other artists when they were promoting ‘Hmph!’.As for members YeonJung and SeolA, they had participated in the OST recordings for different dramas too.Exy was also busy with writing and composing songs for their junior group, CRAVITYas well as THE BOYZ.It was a privilege and honour to be able to work with an external producing team and Exy shared that she had learned many during the process too.Moving on, the girls talked about what fans should look out for in this mini album.Bona did not hesitate to point out their performance and mentioned that they had paid a lot of attention in perfecting it.One of the point dance movements for ‘UNNATURAL’ is the “ㄴoㄱ” step. ㄴandㄱ represent the arms whereas ㅇis the face.Bona and YeoReum came to the center and showed us the steps while the rest of the members sang to ‘UNNATURAL’.After seeing it, we could only agree that the name goes well with the dance step.As the talk continues, the girls shared that a lot of their opinions and ideas were included in the album. Each and every one of them had participated in the preparation and they also asked the MC to check out how each of them have different hair colour and styling too!Before the talk got any longer, the girls left the stage to prepare for the performance of ‘UNNATURAL’.Make sure to check out the gorgeous photos below!Later, the music video for ‘UNNATURAL’ was screened for the very first time.Carrying on with the showcase, they returned to answer questions that reporters had sent in earlier.To answer the question about the best moment to listen to ‘UNNATURAL’, DaWon mentioned that it would be perfect for those who are going through a ‘Sseom’ or just started a relationship with the one they love.Adding on, DaYoung also shared that through this album, many would be able to see how WJSN is capable of pulling off a wide music spectrum.When asked about the message they wished to deliver to fans, the members wished that they would be able to feel comfort as well as the warmth and love they have for them.Finally, with the ‘chart reversal’ trend, one reporter also asked which song from WJSN they wish it could go on a chart reversal.They indefinitely chose ‘Secret’ and pointed out that it is a refreshing song for everyone out there.With the return of WJSN, this would only mean that the girls are back to show off their skills, talent, lovely personalities and of course, rising popularity.
