In those days, another member who left JYP Entertainment, HyoLyn got a call from Starship Entertainment. SoYou, who is a trainee of Starship, came out of CUBE Entertainment right before debuting as the other group.SoYou was preparing for debut as a duet group with Heo GaYoon of 4MINUTE. But after company’s suggestion, 5-members girl group was created. Those 3 other girls to newly come in 5-members girl group are HyunA, JiHyun and JiYoon. While preparing in 5-members system, SoHyun, the last member took part in that group. After a long image test, the original member, SoYou failed to pass the test.The other 5 girls got to debut as 4MITUE and HyoLyn and Soyou debut as SISTAR. In the similar period, UJi got a call from a newly-made company to suggest her girl group. She asked the offer to Hani, who already was studying in China. Two of them made connection with the former JYP trainees, JungHwa and HaeRyeong. The answer from two girls was Yes. The rapper, LE who was recommended by Shinsadong Tiger was cast in. Dami, who had belonged to the newly-created company also joined them. So, this is how the former EXID was created. However, EXID’s results are not that good and members got to go different ways according to problems about company. Therefore, right after debut, UJi, HaeRyeong and Dami came the same team but Hani, JungHwa and LE were left behind. The newly-created company added a new trainee girl to a group and made them debut as BESTie. The original members of EXID met HyeRin and SolJi, who was a vocal trainer of EXID and they finally became complete EXID.
