She can pull off the most delicate pretty concepts and the fiercer cool concepts, too.Fans might not know that she has a number of small tattoos. Today we’ll take a look at the meaning of a couple of them.One of the tattoos that fans see very often in TaeYeon’s photos is the ‘cool’ tattoo on her shoulder.This tattoo was actually inspired by her name. ‘TaeYeon’ can mean calm, cool, collected, composed, etc. in Korean. So, she got her name engraved in English as a reminder that she should live in a cool way.In some photos, her ‘serenity’ tattoo on the elbow of the same arm can be seen too. It has a similar meaning to her ‘cool’ tattoo with the difference being in how the ’ty’ is emphasized, which happen to be her initials.Finally, she also has a tattoo on the back of her neck that says ‘purpose’.TaeYeon confirmed that this tattoo was a reminder to always have the right purpose.
