For the fans of the group, there are many occasions where we have seen the friendship of these two boys, who are always stuffed together. From two talented singers to two young men who get along wonderfully, here is a key moment of the friendship between JiMin and JungKook of BTS : their trip to Tokyo, in October 2017! It all started on October 28, when JiMin and JungKook were spotted at Gimhae Airport, Busan, accompanied by JungKook’s and JiMin’s father and brother. Surprise, no staff was present to supervise the two young men, and no official announcement regarding their departure abroad had been made beforehand. No one knew then if they were going on a trip, or abroad for work. On the 29th, no info leaked, it was still unclear where JiMin and JungKook were, as they were not active on social media, and no one seemed to have seen them on the street. Confirmation of their trip to Tokyo does not arrive until the next day!On October 30, some fans spotted both JungKook and JiMin enjoying some time in Tokyo, in Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, and Omotesando! They apparently did some shopping and went to the restaurant. Some pictures were circulating online, showing them carrying out big shopping bags. Then, the two were seen at Disneyland! They watched the fireworks and rode some attractions together during the evening! On their last day, October 31, they visited some more shops and went back calmly to Korea without anyone disturbing their trip. What made this trip more special was the fact it was their first trip together, all by themselves. Plus, it was actually a surprise birthday present from JungKook to JiMin. JiMin didn’t know about the trip, JungKook planned everything beforehand and he even created a vlog about their trip. This vlog also was a surprise. Of course, JiMin noticed he was being filmed every day, but he revealed later that he had no idea JungKook would have created a whole video of him, uploaded on YouTube! When JiMin so the video, he replied on Twitter “Jungkook, if I’d known you’d make something so cool I would have dressed up a bit and I wouldn’t have done weird things. I’ll dress up next time. Thank you for making the video, you must have worked hard.” JiMin also published his own vlogs about this short yet meaningful trip with JungKook, also on Twitter.— 방탄소년단 (@BTS_twt) November 6, 2017— 방탄소년단 (@BTS_twt) November 6, 2017He affectionately called BTS’ maknae “Kook”, showing their strong bond. After returning to Korea, they published those vlogs but also some pictures of themselves, like the one above where they dressed up as the killer in the movie “Scream” for Halloween. During an interview for AmebaTV later in 2017, members of the group asked them what was their most memorable memory from their trip. JungKook replied, surprisingly, the night he oversleep with JiMin as the latter played on his phone until 5am. They should have woken up at 9am, but instead, they did at 12.In another interview for Jelly Magazine, 2018, JiMin recalled Tokyo, saying “I went to Disneyland last time with JungKook and it was so cute”. No doubt JiMin and JungKook’s trip will give you some ideas to plan your next travel! This trip was, and still is, one of their brightest memories as close friends, and should not be underlooked. Some ARMY even recreated their trip, going to the same hotel, shops, and attractions as the two singers.Let us know in the comment bellow what you think of JiMin and JungKook friendship!
