1. A hardcore and intense concept
What is quite obvious from the concept photos that have been released so far, JUST B is gearing up to make an impact. The contrast of red and black gives off a powerful vibe and the background of what looks like an empty warehouse with just streaks of light peering through indicates that there might be a dynamic of breaking through the darkness to reach the light. The seeds of resisting an oppressive system have already been placed through the official trailer for “JUST BURN”. In another official photo, the boys can be seen against a red background, signifying danger but the members are resolute. The crates and bricks are clearly a symbol that JUST B is ready for battle and the song ‘Damage’ might just be the battle cry. We’re guessing that there might even be some elements of science fiction involved.
2. Angst
The tracklist released for JUST B’s debut mini-album “JUST BURN” conveys a singularly strong message. The songs included in the tracklist are titled ‘Get Away’, ‘Damage’, ‘My Way’, ‘Double Dare’, and ‘Deja Vu’. There is a sense of struggle and eventual victory that comes through from this tracklist and we can surely expect to see and hear diametrically opposed sounds. For instance, we might get an intense alt-rock track on the one hand and a soulful rock ballad on the other.
3. A killer yet sensual choreography
The mood of the concept photos indicates an emotionally upheaving yet empowering concept. We can definitely expect some complicated and powerful choreography with a number of killing points that are likely to go viral, especially considering their already massive popularity. While it will be full of explosive energy, the suits hint at a sensual angle to the same as well. The K-Pop fandom knows fully well that suits almost always mean that the groups will be showing off their masculine allure and we can’t wait for JUST B to do the same.
4. Something different
As we see in the trailer for “JUST BURN”, JUST B is stuck in a looping system that denies them self-expression. However, we also see that they’re acutely aware of this and as such, this prefaces a revolution. This revolution is not just in terms of a fictional concept in a music video but rather in the K-Pop world altogether. JUST B is here to change the scene and we couldn’t be any more hyped about this.
