It is undeniable that MONSTA X is THE fastest growing K-Pop group at the moment! The group from Starship Entertainment is undeniably one of the artists with the most potential to be the ‘Next BTS’.MONSTA X debuted back in 2015 under Starship Entertainment through the reality show “No Mercy”. The seven members have been growing in popularity ever since their debut, album after album. Last year, the group seems to have made a further step in the overseas market.The group came back on Feb. 18 with the album, “Take.2: WE ARE HERE” with the title track, ‘Alligator’ and this album is currently taking the spotlight. These media covered the third season of “MONSTA X-RAY”, 2nd world tour and also their appearance in “Jingle Ball” tour.Billboard ranked MONSTA X 6th on the “Top 10 Most Anticipated K-Pop Albums of 2019” and Pandora - one of the major U.S. streaming platform - selected the group as ‘Artist to Watch’ in 2019 and they were the only K-Pop artist on the list.Billboard mentioned the group numerous times.The group also appeared in various media such as Allure, The Guardian, LA Daily News, OC Weekly, Just Jared, Metro, etc.I.M also had two individual interviews in English, one with Chicago Tribune and another with BBC Radio.Media wrote about them, but the group was also invited in shows in the U.S. during their presence in the country. Many fans are waiting for the announcement for the 3rd World Tour and the fans are hoping for new cities to be on the list for their tour schedule.But that is not all. MONSTA X was also the first K-Pop group to be part of iHeartRadio ‘Jingle Ball’ tour! which Started from Nov. 30, 2018. The group performed on the famous Jingle Ball stages with other renowned artists including Cardi B, Shawn Mendes, Calvin Harris, Camila Cabello, Khalid, Dua Lipa, G-Eazy, Alessia Cara, Bazzi, 5 Seconds Of Summer and more. Five cities were announced in the beginning -Los Angeles, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Boston, Philadelphia- and they did one more in New York, completing 6 cities.During their Jingle Ball Tour, they impressed a lot of U.S. citizens who were not that familiar with K-Pop and gained new fans with their powerful performances. 3- Collaboration with Global ArtistsMONSTA X members mentioned on several occasions that they wish to do collaborations with global artists and they met some of them during their participation in Jingle Ball, including Shwan Mendes, Cardi B, Camila Cabello, etc.The group collaborated with top international artists. The Chainsmokers had a collaboration stage with MONSTA X during Jingle Ball and sang ‘Something Like This’ together. Gallant had an interview with MONSTA X in a mini-documentary, “When You Call My Name” (Viki 2018) and they performed an acoustic version of ‘Beautiful’.
